John Flynn is an up and rising film maker from Long Island, NY. His passion for movies developed when he was young, when he first saw E.T. at home. Infatuated, he went to try and re-create it with his grandmother's camcorder, and made up other stories surrounding the materials that were within his grasp. When in high school, he began making a series of short movies with his friends, and that's when he decided that he wanted to make movies for the rest of his life. He entered Nassau Community College as a Film Major and began making his first film Carman.

John met director Flavio Alves after answering an ad he placed for crew help for a short film The Break In, where he was hired as the First Assistant Camera Operator, and has been working with Flavio since then. John currently lives in Brooklyn, New York, where he is attending Brooklyn College studying film.
