Cara Howe was born and raised on Long Island, NY. Her interest in photography began at age eight when she was given her first camera. After working steadily in film for several years, Cara returned to photography, a natural step forward. “I started my career in film due to my love of story telling. Yet, my passion resides in photography, where I am continually challenged to capture movement and moments.”

Cara attended Emerson College for film, television and photography. She furthered her studies in photography and advertising at The Portfolio Center in Atlanta. She currently resides in NYC and is a member of The International Cinematographer's Guild.
