Jeffrey Solomon wrote the Television pilot for Jim Henson's CityKids, which received an Emmy nomination for Best Children's Special and an Ollie Award for Excellence in Children's Programming. Mr. Solomon was a staff writer for the series of the same name on A.B.C. and penned a CityKids novelization young adults published by Random House. He was a staff writer on Davis Rules(Carsey-Werner/ABC-TV) and has also written for Tribeca (Tri-Star/FOX) and Gullah Gullah Island (Nickelodeon.) Mr. Solomon's acclaimed play Mother/Son has been seen at HERE Art Center, on London's Off West End at The New End Theatre and the Oval House, Theatre Works in Melbourne Australia, and the Fourth Floor in Mumbai, India. His Santa Claus is Coming Out ran Off Broadway on Theatre Row at the Kirk Playhouse and at the Diversionary in San Diego.
Jeff is is the founder and co-Artistic Director of Houses on the Moon Theater Co., which has toured his plays Tara's Crossing and De Novo.
